I’ve always loved the challenge of creating realistic scenes — even within fantasy settings. My personal goal is to build images that feel like art, yet carry the weight and depth of a photograph.

I focus on every detail: poses, expressions, the play between light and shadow, warm and cool hues — all to guide the viewer’s eye and create striking contrast.

This piece is still a work in progress, part of my ongoing exploration for the aesthetic of a graphic novel I’m developing.

Thank you! I totally get that — I’ve also been away from posting for a while because of work. But now I’m on vacation and finally getting the time to dive in and find my rhythm again. What takes me the longest is building realistic skin textures for my characters — lighting comes next. The post work I do pretty fast, though, since I’m a designer and that’s part of my daily work at the agency. LOL.
