Banner Art for Story
3D Render by EverwildOdd formatting again, I know. The banners on World Anvil are rather persnickety (or more that I am because if they're too big, they take up a whole page and require more scrolling). I needed to replace the banner included in the standard theme, and while I liked the colors in that image, it's synthetic art. Eventually I will find a real artist with reasonable rates and a penchant for water colors that I can adore. Until then, well ... I get to have fun and experiment. I like the additional image, but it's too dark, too purple, and doesn't fit Story's aesthetic.
I've slacked a little in learning new Photoshop skills this year in exchange for more writing time. I didn't like how the first draft ended, so Revision 2 is more like a second-half rewrite. Phew. Story is the place on WA where I dump all my notes and research (and will publish what I've found useful). I would have liked to build it into a community for casual writers and hobbyists, but that became more work and less time to write, so now it's just a "Commonplace Notebook" with the convenience of access from anywhere (and I get to select what I share publicly).
