SciFi Girl
3D Render by DustRiderI don't have a good story for this render. The image name come from the "Girl 6" character used, she is often referred to as Grl. The inspiration for it was a new thread on the DAZ forums - "Genesis 2 Appreciation Thread" by mding. It made me want to revisit The Girl 6 character for Genesis 2 and see what I could do in Iray with her. This image is the result. Nothing fancy or complicated, just a single figure render.
The character is based on The Girl 6 for G2 withe several additional morphs (The Girl 6 is at approx. 80%). Of course I had to convert and optimize her shaders/materials from 3Delight to Iray. The outfit is XBA01 from AlfaSeeD (now known as Aeon Soul, the outfit is no longer available). The environment model is "Eclipse: Sci-fi Environment" from DAZ. The only modifications to the environment was adjusting the intensity of the lights. I added several (12??) spot lights for key and rim lighting and used Iray fog and ground fog to add a bit more mood/atmosphere to the render. Minimal post work was done in Gimp to add a bit of vignette and adjust levels.
