2000+ Offspring of the Woods: Cultists Design
There are creatures lurking in the woods, singing songs to the ancient gods and paying homage through terrifying rituals.
Created for Slaughter to Prevail's "Koschei" music video, these cultists became one of the visual elements of the film. Every costume was built by hand from natural materials, with tangled branches, moss, weathered fabrics, ritual masks, and body paint inspired by Slavic folklore and folk horror.
All the costumes were created based on concept art by an artist from our studio. It was a long process of exploring different looks, and you can view these concepts in our portfolio.
Inside this reference pack you'll find over 2,000 images featuring expressive creature poses, dynamic interactions, ritual movements, dramatic portraits, and detailed close-ups of every handcrafted costume element. Perfect for character designers, concept artists, illustrators, creature sculptors, and anyone creating dark fantasy or horror worlds.
You'll also find interactions between multiple cultists, action poses with ritual shields and staffs, crouching, crawling, standing, and ceremonial movements from many angles. Every pose was photographed on a clean studio background, making silhouettes, anatomy, costume layers, textures, and gesture easy to study.
