Abstract:

I envisioned Odin seated majestically on a grand, ancient throne, exuding the aura of a mighty conqueror. His single, all-seeing eye, glowing with omniscient intensity, pierces through the viewer, conveying wisdom and power. Flanking him are his ravens, Huginn and Muninn, perched on his shoulders, embodying vigilance and the vast knowledge they gather for their master. The setting is imbued with an aura of both regality and raw, primal strength, highlighting Odin's dominion and his commanding presence over all realms.

Construction:

The character of Odin is based on a Genesis 8 male base mesh and posed. Imported into Zbrush for modelling to create the old man morph. I also utilized Zbrush's fiber mesh for the hair on his beard and arms. All the clothing and crown and axe were designed in Blender and textured in Blender. The two ravens were used as old assets I owned but retextured. The rest of the scene is from an old DAZ library, that I remodelled and retextured to fix the scene. Touch ups and accents were added in Photoshop and lightroom.

I hope this depiction of Odin is one that captivates you, and gives a sense of the primalness of Norse Lore.
