3D Render by EverwildThe first scene I completed in 3D with Daz. Made fancier by the suggestion of a (Daz) gallery visitor who introduced me to godrays. Since then, good lighting has been a constant goal in my work. Thanks for looking.
May your cocoa be as sweet as your rainbows are bright.

The light is really amazing!
But the details, the water dripping from the horses mouth, the leaves here and there and the cat, ready to jump and run, the whole scene is wonderful

Sun, Nov 03, 2024Miiissssy! You have fancy favorites folders! I will have to investigate how to do this, too. Thank you for your feedback. I hope you're getting stronger day-by-day, ma'am!

Yes, I do, have been a fighter and will keep on fighting, I don't give up my life that easy!
When you hoover with the mouse over "Add to collection" there is this empty field for "New Collection" simply write a word in it and click the blue button on the right "Add" and that's it

An interesting way of using godrays, which I thought were best used indoors (having dust to reflect the light). So your render gave me something to think about. The inverse thing to do is to obstruct your lightsource with something, (a tree, a building - which could be a simple square) - if you want to fork out some money, Dreamlight has some readymade shadow casters.

Also, I found Rauko's Tutorials on lighting (Youtube) helpful.

Mon, Nov 04, 2024Oh, man, do I love me some Rauko. Dreamlight3D has a handful of helpful lighting tutorials, too. Thanks for the link -- that's a new possibility for me to explore.

Having the godrays shine from the right side , does make this a mystic scene in the sunset.

I wish my potatoe machine could do God Ray's.
Haha Sir-Cat-Alot on the horse, wonderful lighting and brightly lit scene, nice soft shadows as well.

Sat, Nov 09, 2024I used 2 flat planes because my computer couldn't handle real god rays. I got just enough light bouncing off them to make it show up. Just enough. Thanks Cosmo!
