The Breach from Within

3D Render by Everwild

Just an exercise from a scene I reintroduced into the current version of AoA (Book 1). My two main characters, Farro and Lyren. I hadn't done any 3D art for a few weeks, but was delighted to discover I had these basalt blocks (my third favorite stone, behind obsidian and anything purple, but esp. sapphires). smile

I want to revisit this idea with a shinier, more polished stone, but I wanted to see if I could produce something a little on the grim-dark side of moodiness.

Anyhow, thoughts and comments are always appreciated and valued. I hope you're all having a lovely weekend.

Obsidian good for scrying. Purple stones like amethyst are nice.
There's a story here, I wonder what happened to Lyren. The black and white with the vignette suits. The light focuses right on the characters which draw you to it.
And a sense of wonder. What happened? Bit of a sad feeling too and a bit of anger is what I get from it.
