"Mein Schatz, what do you think you are doing?" the director’s voice cut through the silence carrying a false warmth, like a blade hidden in silk.

Gigi sat at the small desk, her fingers holding up a small newspaper clipping she’d just uncovered. The headline spoke of a political scandal long buried and one that whispered part of the secrets about this facility. She glanced up, her pulse quickening. The directors shadow filled the doorway, his silhouette sharp and imposing with the light directly behind him standing with one hand behind his back.

"This?" she asked, holding up the clipping as if it were nothing. "It was in the drawer. I thought it might be… interesting." her voice steady even with the weight of his gaze bearing down on her.

He took a step forward, his polished shoes silent on the old carpeted floor. "Interesting... yes" he said, his smile stretching just a fraction too far and too tight. "But curiosity, mein Schatz, is often... misplaced."

His smile lingered but something about it was wrong. Off in a way that sent a chill down her spine. As the silence stretched, Gigi tried to maintain her cool by flashing a smile before saying "well, I should get back to my duties".

Happy New Year Everyone! Started this and finished it in one day... Woot, woot! That's rare for me as I overthink a million things before posting images.

Like always I'm probably mixing the wrong clothing with the wrong era and the using the wrong German in the story here.

Added in camera 3 into the mix here as I generally end up with about five camera's before I feel good about a scene.
