Mouse's Big Adventure
3D Render by slofkoskyThe storm was merciless, tearing across the land in wild howling gusts. Mouse heard her cry, a desperate gasp swallowed by the rain, and his heart kicked into action. Grabbing a wooden spoon and two stray feathers, he sprinted toward the rising waters. With one fearless leap, he landed in an abandoned food carton, the feathers catching the wind like tiny sails. Steering through the wreckage, he fought against the current, eyes locked on the one thing that mattered.
She was slipping away, her paws thrashing for something, anything to hold onto. "I've got you!" he raged against the chaos and reaching out the spoon, stretching with every ounce of his strength. Their paws met, cold, trembling and with every bit of strength in his body he pulled her inward to safety.
In a world drowning under dark skies, Mouse proved that love wasn’t just a feeling. It was everything to fight for.
NOTES:
Wanted to create something different from my day in/day out. A challenge for a contest got me thinking and so here we are. And what a fun story this could be!
Girl mouse had flowers in her hair but from the angle I chose, they looked weird so I just turned them off for the render. They'll be back if I make more scenes of this love story.

Mon, Apr 28I totally agree with you. Once you start observing the different life forms of our planet they exhibit a lot of the same motion and feelings that we seem to share. Thank you very kindly TensorKnot!
I like how you used the reflections and splashes and rain to make the scene really chaotic (especially for a little mouse). Through it all our hero, Mouse appears calm and steadfast. This guy knows how to get it done.

Wed, May 14Mr. Splats!! Hey just looked up Fievel Goes West and have not seen it. Looks like a good, clean, fun movie.
I'm glad that I can stay plugged in these days as the stakes seem to get higher and higher in life. Which I believe everyone can understand... just the cost of living I guess. Knowing you are out there Mr. Surgeon is a positive thought that lingers in the back of my mind. MAN! Even writing this simple sentence I'm getting bombarded by errors my co-worker is making for a business that is on the rocks already. * sigh *
