It took FOREVER to find the right combination of morphs to finally get an image of Ladimere Trevian (Farro's eldest brother) I feel represents the missing heir to the Kingdom of Manaz. Now I have to figure out how to age him and duplicate it, because he is essentially a carbon copy of his father. However, where Ladimere looks aloof and severe, much like his father, he is far more introverted and quiet, very seldom speaking unless he has something significant to say. Ladimere is commanding whereas Halgundar is more of a bully.

I knew I wanted Martin (by Bu_es) to form the foundation of these two men, but Martin has a very flat, vertical profile (an observation; not a condemnation), which made it a little difficult to find the right combination of morphs and other characters. That, and Daz characters specifically don't blend so easily (for example: Ivar, Zack, and Freja) because their features tend to be overpowering. Not at all unhappy, but it did take months and many trials to find his face. It's easier to make the characters I'm less invested in, I've discovered. Maybe because I don't have such concrete details already established.

The more intricately you imagine your charaters to be, the harder it becomes to get the visuals "Just right", We really can be our own worst critics at times.

Looks amazing to me though, rugged good looks, almost like looking in a mirror XD (I Wish)

You're right. Especially because I'm not yet at that stage where I feel bold enough to modify the models myself (although with hair assets, it's getting close). So at some point the logic brain has to tell the lizard brain to JUST LET ET GO. And be happy with what you get. Thanks gobs and bunches. My stable of characters grows... emote

Wonderful work and the depth you are going to create time progression is awesome. I've often wondered if you have family who also aid in the creation process or are you a lone wolf of sorts with the creativity. No need to answer just saying "great job my friend!"

Sorry, I missed this, Thomas. I find writing to be a very isolated endeavor. I can bounce ideas off my husband sometimes, but otherwise, it's pretty solitary. If you need feedback or community, I recommend Circle Critique and possibly World Anvil, depending on your goals. WA has a pretty large writing community and you can use it free (with ads, of course).
