In this simple asset testing scene, we have an original G8 character posing outside a DAZ Originals thatched cabin armed with one of my own P1742 muskets and a 'Blackbeard' cutlass. The cabin is a bit of a jewel on the outside and pretty stark on the inside, which is fine as it reduces runtimes unless you want to build it up with attached props for an interior setting. I haven't tried the latter yet, but I will as I like the buildings.

A plane with some applied textures from here in the hub, a few stones from ROG's venerable but still outstanding Red Crow Inn, a few grass bits, an HDRI from Orestes and a Moon Lighting prop from Shaaramuse and off it went.

The gent's outfit is also a bit of a bash, with the bulk of it from an aging and stylish but still quite useful Genesis 2 pirate set from DAZ.
