Easy on paper...
That was before she started falling for him.
Late nights that bled into early mornings. Love letters that made her heart skip a beat. She thought about calling it off, but every time her heart couldn't find the strength to do it.
So when he appeared one night while she sat distracted listening to one of the recordings, gun in hand, he had only one question written on his face.
The tape beside her kept spinning. He looked at her like he already knew the truth and just wanted to hear her say it.
“I’m quitting todayshe said.
A promise neither of them knew she could keep.

Earlier bright version in slot #3 before I tried to go after "mood". Had to draw in the headphone plugged into the reel to reel... Close enough.
Lovers crossing a threshold is how I feel today. I've been with the same person most all of my life, good or bad. I'm not sure if today is a celebration or something harsher.
The song I'm listening to right now from Bastille just said:

I was very excited to see you post over in the Daz gallery the other day. I faved it but couldn't reply because they're "upgrading the daz gallery". Last time they upgraded it, several years ago, it took about two months for them to finish the update and they caused a lot of problems. Let's hope this time it goes better but I'm not holding my breath on that one.
Anyways it's so very great to see you again!
