A cybernetic reinterpretation of the legendary Kitsune, this character blends traditional Japanese aesthetics with subtle futuristic design elements to create a world suspended between folklore and technology.

Seated within the quiet glow of a private chamber, she appears almost at peace. Silk robes drape across her synthetic frame while a fox mask, and mechanical seams hint at a more complex existence hidden beneath the surface.

The environment was built to support that contrast: shoji screens, tatami flooring, hanging cables, decorative panels, hidden watchers, and warm interior lighting create a quiet but unsettling space where tradition and machinery coexist.

Unlike many cyberpunk interpretations that focus on scale, action, or spectacle, this piece was designed as a more intimate character portrait. The goal was to create a moment of stillness—one that allows beauty, mystery, environmental storytelling, and subtle worldbuilding elements to exist within a single frame.

The project also provided an opportunity to explore custom modeling workflows, material development, Marvelous Designer clothing, cinematic depth of field, lighting refinement, and character design integration across DAZ Studio, Blender, Marvelous Designer, and Affinity Photo.
