No Ai Finale Ivory, Her Cat Moshi, and Poe the Crow
3D Render by slofkoskyFrom Part #7:
And Ivory lay unaware just inches away from losing everything she had left.
(Image in slot #2)
Just moments before the necromancer could consume the last of Ivory's power, something shifted in the air... ancient, silent and just. The spirit, long trapped between two worlds, rose from the waters like a memory finally remembered. Once murdered by the same man who now crawled toward Ivory, the spirit made no sound as he grasped the necromancer from behind and began to drag him towards the water.
They struggled in silence, but the outcome was already decided. The necromancer was pulled to a shallow watery grave... the very one chosen years ago for the soul he betrayed. Water closed over them with a final ripple, and the swamp was still once again.
And Ivory… Ivory never saw it.

The new day and lake was quiet now. Not just still, but quiet in a way that felt sacred. Like the land itself had finally exhaled. Where sorrow once clung like fog, there was now only peace. Wildflowers had begun to bloom at the edge of the water, their delicate petals opening wide, drawn to the faint warmth of morning light and fertilized in the glow of the night before's magic.
Ivory lay stomach down in the grass, hands supporting her head as a makeshift pillow, her dress messily scattered and ripped from the nights battle. The wand, still faintly pulsing beside her, had taken everything she had to give. The storm she conjured, the lightning that coursed through her bones had come at a cost. Her magic was powerful, but it demanded its price. She hadn’t chosen sleep. She had collapsed into it, the only thing left after surviving.
Moshi was curled against her, nestled into the crook of her arm, as if guarding her heart with his tiny quiet frame. Poe had perched silently on her shoulder, feathers tucked, gleaming for any sign of danger beneath the first touch of dawn. Neither one moved. They stayed with her not to wake her, but to wait.
And the world waited with them.
The lake breathed slower now, its rhythm no longer haunted. The trees whispered not with grief but with renewal. The ground held her gently, knowing what she had done not just for one spirit, but for the balance. Ivory had answered a call she never heard and solved a wound no one could see.
And the earth, wild and old, remembered her.
It would let her rest now, cradled in grass, mud and flowers safe beneath the eye of a watchful crow. But it will soon call on her again. Because the world still had stories left to write and it knew Ivory the Good Witch was the one who would carry them.
For now, she slept. Peacefully. But not forgotten.
NOTES: ---------
HOLY COW! I finished the story, bored a lot of people I'm sure, but I'm glad to finish a story. For those that read along with this, I thank you! The story took lots of turns but Ivory finally saved the spirit trapped between two worlds that haunted the lake.

Lots to like - and for once there is a happy ending (though this time I anticipated it from the last image).
Love the colour shift and that you seem to have remembered that her soles should be dirty standing on mud. A small thing, but it shows consideration and affinity to detailed storytelling.
I know that doubt seems to be part of your creation process, but I feel that you are one of the good story tellers (accentuate these 3 words to your liking) on all the sites I visit, with images full of impact.
