Elegy of the Mantis Haute Bio-Couture
3D Render by scifierInspired by my personal macro photography of exotic mantids from 2023–2025 — including the Devil Flower, Ghost, Dragon, and Peruvian Leaf Mantis — this piece reimagines high fashion as a surreal, organic evolution. Ethereal and armored, the sculptural form channels the elegance, symmetry, and silent power of these predators.
Sculpted in ZBrush, retopologized in Maya, and textured in Substance Painter, the model is staged in Adobe Substance 3D.
This is not just fashion — it's an homage to nature’s strangest beauty, resurrected in digital form.

Mon, Sep 22, 2025Wow, thank you so much! That really means a lot — I appreciate your support from the very beginning.
Wooow! It’s really amazing! Had a feeling there was something entomological about it, before even seeing the rest of the pictures and reading the description. Amazing job!
