Pomarosa-05 Deux
3D Render by JADICUSShe does not advance.
She waits.
POMAROSA-05 DEUX explores the same machine through a different lens — not as a battlefield construct, but as a presence. The closer you get, the less human the silence feels. Her expression never changes. Her posture barely moves. Yet everything around her bends under pressure: the atmosphere, the light, even the space itself.
The deep crimson threading wrapped around her frame was designed to feel ceremonial rather than functional, almost like a veil draped over something not meant to be understood. Combined with the cold white shell and invasive low-angle perspective, the goal was to create a sense of controlled unease — a machine completely at rest, yet unmistakably dangerous.
This piece was created using a traditional 3D workflow with no generative AI involved. The character, materials, lighting, atmosphere, composition, and post-processing were built and rendered manually using DAZ Studio, Marvelous Designer, Blender, and Affinity Photo. The heavier cinematic grading, volumetric fog, and tighter framing were intentionally used to push the image away from a clean “CG renderaesthetic and closer to the feeling of a captured film frame.

Sun, Jul 12Thanks, Sweep! The atmosphere was one of the main things I wanted to improve in this version, so I'm really glad it came across.
Another cool one, I like the texture of the head scarf and the blue tint, but the first one to me looks more dynamic. Let's see, what the judges think: good luck with both entries.

Wed, May 13Thank you so much! Note taken. I appreciate your honest feedback! It's been fun working with her. As I said to another person, I will probably do one more render of her - just for fun - before I move on into other things. So stay tuned!

Looks great, much higher contrast lighting than the first. Excellent work. And good luck with both entries in the contest.

Sun, Jul 12Thank you! I'm really glad you liked the perspective. I appreciate you taking the time to comment!
I love her attitude and the brilliant color contrast. I love how she looks so relaxed yet seems so far away. And I especially love the scarf and the way she wears it. I'd love a scarf like that too

Sun, Jul 12Thank you so much! That means a lot. I wanted her to look calm and confiden, so I'm really glad that came across.
In the first image I really liked how the texture (and color) contrasted with the smoothness of the android. In this one I especially like the area of her face and the brilliant fabric.

Sun, Jul 12Thank you! I really appreciate you comparing both versions. That's an interesting observation. The framing around her face changed quite a bit in DEUX, so I'm really glad the face and the fabric stood out to you. Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts!
I updated the image to put more focus on the character. I reduced the depth of field, added more light to the front of the scene to better separate the character from the environment, and made a slight adjustment to the pose. This new version uses no post-processing - it's a pure render.
I'm also posting the previous version below for those who may prefer the original.
