Poolside Selfie
3D Render by JADICUSThere were already plenty of swimsuits in this challenge... but what's one more? 
I couldn't resist.
No... that's not a photo.
And no... she's not a real person either. If you thought otherwise, then I guess I achieved exactly what I set out to do.
This piece was an exercise in chasing realism. My goal was to capture the feeling of a casual vacation selfie taken by the pool. Inspired by the polished, glamorous look often seen on Instagram, I focused on wide-angle smartphone perspective, natural lighting, skin realism, and believable materials to make it feel more like a photograph than a 3D render.
Created entirely in DAZ Studio without the use of generative AI. This render evolved over several days through countless refinements and re-renders until it finally matched the look I had in mind.
It was a fun break from my usual sci-fi work. Hope you enjoy it!

The photo has a really nice atmosphere; you can tell there's solid work behind the lighting and overall tone. I like how it stays simple but effective. The hair has a damn realistic touch, hard to believe this comes from DazStudio. The angle and perspective are very well done, you clearly put effort into that. The reflections and the natural look of the skin also stand out nicely.
