Help Me, Saint Mutabaruka
3D Render by lukonI'm trying to write a book about the relief of suffering, but I'll never finish it 'cause my own suffering done destroyed my discipline.
So off I go to the shrine of Saint Mutabaruka to plead for legitimacy as a writer, to spite my incompetence. The shrine keeper mediates my supplication.
On my turn to speak, I say: "Help me Saint Mutabaruka; dis book needs to borrow the legitimacy of your poem called 'Dis Poem', that self-referential masterpiece that called itself boring and annoying and unfinished and needing to be changed."
