The Third Rail Restaurant is a conceptual design blending urban industrial architecture with classic New York subway aesthetics. Modeled and rendered entirely in SketchUp and Lumion, the project reimagines a disused train platform as a high-end dining experience — where nostalgia, transit culture, and modern hospitality intersect.

The design integrates authentic subway elements such as vintage train cars, tiled walls, and industrial lighting, balanced by warm wood partitions, greenery, and refined furnishings to create a unique dining atmosphere. One car functions as a café counter while the platform hosts a series of dining zones, bar seating, and lounge areas.

This visualization demonstrates how accessible tools like SketchUp and Lumion can rapidly transform a conceptual idea into an immersive, detailed environment — achieving cinematic realism and emotional depth without the extended production times associated with more complex rendering platforms.
