Neon dusk filtered through the graffiti‑splashed walls of the loft as Lyra carried a little droid toy to an open spot on the floor. Her faithful companion Pixel at her feet. Pixel tracked the toy with unblinking blue eyes, its tail whirring in tight, excited arcs. Lyra loved this hour of the night, when the city outside hummed like a distant engine, and her monitors spilled lines of code across the room. It was the only time she could breath, unwind, and let Pixel’s playful chirps cut through the static noise of her thoughts.
She tossed the toy gently, and Pixel darted after it with a metallic trill, skidding across the floor and knocking over a stack of printouts. Lyra laughed, the sound echoing off neon-lit walls and half-finished projects. Pixel returned proudly, toy clamped between his tiny paws. He gently nudged her ankle for another round. For all the chaos of her hacker life of encrypted messages, late-night break-ins, and secrets buried in data streams, these small moments grounded her. Pixel wasn’t just a companion. He was the one thing in her world she hadn’t built to fight, deceive, or outsmart anyone.
As she knelt to scratch behind its smooth, alloy ears, Pixel purred with a soft vibration. Lyra felt the tension of the day melt away. Tomorrow she’ll dive back into the labyrinth of networks and conspiracies. But tonight belonged to the two of them, a girl and her loyal companion, sharing a quiet pocket of joy in a city that rarely offered any.

This is a character I created trying to make a character similar to "The Girl 7". In the process I came up with this character and really liked her and just wanted to use her in a render (I did make one that was closer to The Girl 7, but I liked this version better). Her skin is from FPD Mariah for Genesis 9 at DAZ, she also uses her character morphs, but at a low percentage. Her outfit is from Street Verve by Aeon Soul (except for the shoes). The lighting is a combination of the lighting from the Cyberpunk Apartment environment form DAZ (with modifications) and 8 manually placed spot lights. The cute little robot cat is from Nekomatrix for Genesis 9 at DAZ.
Gimp was used for minor post work (adjust levels, unsharp mask, vignette, signature).
